One of the perks about working at an international organization is the food! And I am not just talking about the endless pastries and cookies that are served at almost every meeting. There are several World Bank Group buildings located on Foggy Bottom and all of them have some sort of cafeteria, which serves food from around the globe. The best cafeteria is located in the Main Complex (MC), across the street from my office. The food is cheap, there are a ton of healthy options, and there are cuisine selections from around the globe. Today I passed by the Pacific Rim, India, Iran, and Morocco before ending up in Italy ordering a flatbread pizza. The flat bread is super thin and the pizza is simple with diced tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, parmesan and fresh basil. The best thing about this pizza, only 260 calories!
